December is always a little crazy, and this year had finals for Mr. YP added into the mix. But once we were actually celebrating the holidays, everything fell into place and was a lot of fun.

Too bad I have not had success filming Stu the Chimpanzee puppet, Will's new BFF. Wilbur hugs Stu, waves to him, gives him rides on the fire truck, plays hide and seek with him, shows me Stu's "EYES" "NOSE" and "MOUTH", etc. etc. I can often get a moment of blessedly unmolested time just by saying, "Will, where is Stu?" Will's eyes light up as if he had completely forgotten about the existence of his new friend until I asked about him... and then Willers squirrels off in search of his long lost buddy.

I always feel so fortunate around Christmas. We have a surplus of good stuff (material and otherwise) in our family, and I know that every family deserves just as much as we have.
